Valentines Day Treats!

Valentines Day is just around the corner! This is one of my favorite holidays, as I think it's a fun opportunity to show our love for other people!

Below, I created a few fun treats you can make on Valentines Day that is uber festive!

Pink Covered Strawberries:

Okay, so chocolate covered strawberries are one of my guilty pleasures! Given that this is a chocolate-filled holiday, I figured now is an appropriate time to chow down on my favorite snack! However, for Valentines Day, dip your strawberries in some pink (or red) colored chocolate to get festive! At any grocery store, you should be able to find colored chocolate melts. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or on the stove, and dip your strawberries in the chocolate. Leave them out to harden for about an hour or so, and store in the fridge to save them!

TIP:

If you don't like strawberries, you can do the same thing with pretzel rods!

Rice Crispy Treats:

Who doesn't love Rice Crispy treats?! You can either make your own, or purchase them. If you're making your own, cut the treats into even squares. Then, dip half of the treats into pink (or red) colored chocolate, and sprinkle on some festive sugar candy! If you want, you can attach a stick to the end of the Rice Crispy Treat for an easy and clean hold.

Easy Cookies:

This idea is for my simpler folk, but everyone loves cookies, so this is sure to be a hit! Whether you like M&M cookies, or PeanutButter Blossoms, I have you covered.

If you're interested in making M&M cookies, all you have to do is use color-festive M&M's in the recipe. So, instead of a rainbow assortment, purchase the Valentines Day assortment. You can find these at any local grocery store.

If you're going to do a PeanutButter Blossom cookie, make them as you normally would, but instead of putting a hershey kiss in the middle, put a chocolate heart in the middle! Nestle makes small chocolate squares, so that's what I personally use when I make these cookies!

So, which treats will you be trying out this season? Let me know in the comments, and if you try any of these out, be sure to tell me how it goes for you!

Best,

Brooke
