Posing 101: Leg Poses I
Posing on Stardoll, especially in modeling cycles is something that participants must do in order to get a good score in scenery tasks. There are a large variety of poses - from leg poses to arm poses, hand poses, and much more. In this series, I aim to teach people how to create a variety of poses, and give tips on how to make it more realistic.
Leg poses are the most common poses that you can find on Stardoll. They are easy and convenient to do. This type of poses usually take place underneath the hip, and can be done in a variety of ways. It can vary from a standing pose, running pose, a bent leg, a jumping pose, the list goes on!
You will need the following:
- Stardesign square in any color of your choice
- Two dolls
- An outfit
- Two pairs of shoes
- A bag, or any decor item you wish.
Directions:
1. Place the doll in the pose you want to create. In the picture below, I went for a simple standing leg pose, but that can vary for you.
Tip! If you move the legs closer to each other, it will create an illusion of a thigh gap, and make it look natural.
2. Use the stardesign tiles to cover up the unwanted body parts. Please be careful about how you place the stardesign tiles, as they can affect the overall pose. You can also cover up body parts by using decor, bags, and other items to cover it up, therefore, making it easier for you.
3. Now that you've covered all the unwanted body parts, it's time to place the shoes. Stardoll has a glitch when you place the shoes on top of the doll's feet, making it disappear after you save it. To avoid this glitch, you will have to place the shoes below the doll's feet, and then move the doll to the extent where it looks like the doll is wearing shoes. Move the stardesign tiles to cover the unwanted body parts accordingly.
Of course, you can change this pose to how you like it, this is just the basic version.
I hope you like this post!
